Botox will not remove all wrinkles.

You need to understand this in order not to be disappointed.

The primary effect of Botox is to reduce muscular activity – hence it will only work on wrinkles caused by muscular activity.

Classic sites are

Botox..... or filler ....

• around the frown area (the glabellar)
• the forehead
• around the eyes (crows-feet)
• the chin (mentalis)
• the lips (obicularis oris)
• as well as the neck and jaw-line.

Where Botox will NOT work….

 is where lines are caused by sagging skin – this really needs surgical facelift

or where scarring  or loss of volume is prominant (fillers are needed here)

Lines from nose to mouth need fillers

The lines that run from nose to the angles of the mouth are called the nasolabial lines and no amount of Botox here will remedy the problem. Fillers are needed here. Often fillers and Botox are used together, and they complement each other well.
